Set up emails on Phone – Plesk / Webmail

If you buy a website development plan from us, you also get access to business email. In case you do not have a website from us only use our servers for email, it will either be a Windows based server or Linux. And in most cases, you are either on a Plesk panel or cPanel. In this article we are talking about how to set up Plesk email on your phone. All you need is to configure the email client on your phone (like Gmail on Android or Mail on iOS) with the necessary settings for your Plesk email account. This includes your email address, password, incoming and outgoing server details, and protocol (IMAP or POP). Use the steps below to set up emails on phone.

Set up emails on Phone – Plesk

Use these settings to configure email id in the phone depending on the phone you use. Most people either use an Android phone or an iPhone. Therefore, use the settings as per your device.

How to Configure email in Android

  1. Open the Gmail app, go to Settings and tap Add account
  2. Select Personal (IMAP/POP)
  3. Insert email address and select Manual setup
  4. Select (IMAP) or (POP3) according to your preference.
  5. Enter your password
  6. In the next section select authentication as SSL/TLS in the incoming settings.
  7. After this the phone will validate the credentials
  8. Enter the outgoing server information. You will get this information after the email is created.
  9. You may be prompted to enter password once again.

How to configure email in iPhone

  1. First of all, go to Settings and tap ‘Mail, Contact, Calendars
  2. Select ‘Add account’ option from here.
  3. Select ‘Other’ from the list of email providers.
  4. After this, select ‘Add Mail Account’
  5. Enter the Name, Email, Password and a short description and select ‘Next’ option.
  6. Our executive will share the details about incoming and outgoing server. Use these details when asked while adding the email credentials.

  8. Tap ‘Save’ to finish setting up your email.

Enter server settings (if asked)

You’ll need to input the incoming and outgoing mail server settings. These typically include the server address (e.g., example.com for both incoming and outgoing), port numbers (110 for POP3, 143 for IMAP, 25 or 587 for SMTP), and security settings (SSL/TLS is recommended).
